I hate Mark May. He thinks he knows everything and takes exception to everything Herbstreit says. Everything that comes out of his mouth has little to no substance. I wish he'd just go away.

One of the clips they used to show Miami's "Florida Speed" LBs actually showed the LB NOT catching up with the RB and NOT getting the tackle, even though Mark May was going on and on about their closing speed...what a joke.

If we ignore him, he WILL be gone in a year. The only reaction he gets anymore is from our fans. Everyone knows he's two sandwiches short of a picnic lunch when it comes to understanding college football. Herbie makes him look like what he is: a pretender who is totally out-of-touch. Let's all pull together and help him add "out-of-mind" to that.

Look, it's pretty obvious that May, unlike most of the rest of them, really has it in for certain teams, and isn't afraid to show it....and Ohio State is one of them. My guess, knowing fatfuck, is that he was reacting to what he perceived to be trash-talking by Carpenter about the Texas game, so he decided he was going to go on TV and give the LBs the what-for. He has also always bought the Florida Spped myth hook, line, and sinker, and is never afraid to voice it either. It's obvious that no one thinks his opinions are worth a fiddler's dick anyway, including people from his own network, so the more ignored, the better he is, because the less consequential he becomes.
