What I don't understand is, why start cardale? I understand why you would in theory, but in action they don't use his best attribute. If downfield passes don't even exist, then play JT. More mobile and accurate.

Seriously, 3rd down was a problem. Penalties were an issue. The TOs hurt. Work needs to be done, but this is not just a QB issue.

Agreed. But the way some people talk, you'd never believe they posted over 500 yards of offense. Red Zone was a mess today though.

Stats are great and all but putting the game on the defense and hanging on to win at the end was ridiculous. The O had numerous opportunities to put points on the board and put the game away. Two series at the end of the game and they do absolutely nothing with it. The only thing consistent about the offense is their inconsistency. Zeke bailed them out 3 times otherwise this had the chance of being an embarrassing loss.

I don't disagree with you at all on that point. Plus why run stretch plays with Zeke and not bring in Samuel to spell him there. The one off tackle play in all of that went for 8 yds.

Hopefully Indiana can go on and have a good season. I'd hate to see them go all Vtech or Northwestern, but I could see it happening.
