It would be awesome to see them lay the wood to someone in a consistent, effiicient and entirely dominating fashion. I think a lot of the reaction you're seeing here is the expectations of that in every game and the realization that it won't be that way...

And I think the memories of Florida State looking almost exactly the same last year for most games is fresh in everyone's minds...at least Ohio State's QB isn't a drooling miscreant though....
