As long as special teams, TO's, etc. don't bite us in the butt,

The punt team still scares me. For whatever reason, there have been some close calls in terms of getting a punt blocked. If this thing turns into a Tresselball type game, this will be the most important unit in determining field position. This has been mentioned in past game threads, but when the Bucks force the opponent's offense to play on a long field, things usually go their way.

First down yardage on offense will be a big deal, too. If UW can get second and 4-6 type situations, their play-action and tight end stuff becomes that more effective. If Wisky runs the ball on first down, the Bucks need to stuff it. If they can get Tolzien into obvious passing downs, Heacock may be able to dial up some blitzes, and force Tolzien to make quick decisions, or at least have to throw on the run.

Offensively for the Bucks, like always, it'll come down to the O-line and TP. If they play well, we will all be very happy on Saturday.

Sorry, gang, but I see they type of game that we have all come to know and love with JT. "Every week in the Big 10 is a battle, especially when you're on the road. Their kids played hard, our kids fought like crazy..."

I expect to see a close one (again).

Last year Ohio State, Cam Haywood in particular, owned those fatties on the Wisky O line. Why would it be any different this year? Pryor will have his way with the UW defense and the OSU defense will be solid. As long as special teams, TO's, etc. don't bite us in the butt, I like Fanaticbuckeye's prediction. Won't be easy, but won't be anything to have a nervous breakdown about.

With this defense, we will always have a shot.

Sweetest day October 16th?

WHAT. THE. FUCK.

My wife just dropped this hallmark holiday Bullshit on me.

Geez, let me see...

1) stay home and watch the Bucks.

2) go out and drop $200 on dinner and a bottle of wine.

I've thought about saying Friday would be better because Saturday it'll be soooooo busy.

Any other suggestions on how to get out of this?

Thanks

Inform her that yout do not celebrate sweetest day. That is what i told my wife years ago. For some reason she still buys me a present every year....I say thank you. Also, doesn't your wife already know there will be no "plans" during an OSU game?

You could also keep with the fake holiday bullshit and say it just so happens to be national blowjob day... she will in turn most definitely decline to celebrate that holiday which will force a reciprocation on your part to not celebrate sweetest day (or she may in fact decide to celebrate it, in which case you will still win sex and lose out on watching the game... thus the very reason a dvr was invented lol)

Good idea but not all wives are allergic to giving blowjobs. I'd go with national balls deep on the first stroke anal sex day just to be safe.

This is 100% your fault. The fact that you have not done enough in the past before getting married to show your wife how much Ohio State football means to you. If you would have handled business in the first place she would have never even considered sugessting dinner date during a game.

Sounds like as good as anytime to put those pants on and say not going to happen dear. Let me know if Friday night or Sunday Brunch works better.

All this advice is given with the assumption your wife can not kick your ass. If so, then I need to type a lot more then I just did.

:oh:

Step 1: Give her this look:

Step 2: Continue giving her this look

Step 3: If she has left the room, continue what you were doing previously. If she is still there, return to step 1.

Sweetest Day is lamer than Bucky.

EDIT - You could also suggest that she have dinner with her boyfriend instead, but I expect that BB73 will be busy watching the game.

Divorce is an option. j/k

Your fault for not laying down the "Saturdays are for College Football" rule before you tied the knot.

Here's an idea: Send her to a spa treatment while the game is on. Use the $200 you would drop on dinner and drinks for her to get all massaged and pampered while you are watching the game. Everyone wins.
