Told my wife we were losing as soon as Sark went full NCAA Football video game and they got that 1st very risky 1st down. The momentum and vibe completely flipped at that point

I’ll second this…

I won’t blame JJ because everything was off by the time his drops occurred. But we ice that kick and we are going home winners, we catch a few third down balls we are going home winners, or if we just stop one of the 3 fourth down attempts we walk away winners.

I was shocked Sark was going for it but now that the games over we better do the same thing from here out or we will not be in the playoffs

You should care...over a full season they tell a story.

The biggest thing with Sayin is he's ultra-efficient when he's comfortable with what he's seeing. He's literally Drew Brees 2.0.

Clearly something was off in that 2nd half and I think @buckeyemania11 said it - Texas adjusted and Ohio state did not.

Sayin was NOT the problem tonight. Not even remotely.

In fairness, he’s gotten them to rebound before. He seems to think that a big game always has to be hard though and thus makes it so. Texas was handing OSU this game, and it was as if he couldn’t believe it was real and so made it not real.

Props to your for realizing so early.. maybe it was the emotions but it took me until the second random fourth down conversion until I knew.

You just knew it .

Yeah the more I think about the 2nd half drives, I don’t think it was turtling. Game came down to guys being exhausted and the same issues with Sayin and the OL. If you’re going to run this offense, the QB CANNOT miss the throw to McCuin and has to see more of the field.

This season will come down to how the offense adjusts to this 2nd half performance. Either Sayin and the OL grow, or it will be a tough year.

The lack of adjustment was criminal. Bet your ass Day thought there was no need because I'm his mind the game was over and we could just limp dick the clock out. That's the only explanation

Just think of it this way…

How easy is it to ride a bike when you keep changing the gears? You get it rolling and then for no reason throw it from 8 to 1. Why? Seriously… why.

No reason at all just because.

Well can’t be shocked when it’s hard to get back to speed

Different kind of rebound. An all time level choke job like this takes a whole different psychological toll on a team. I just don't think Day is the type to get the roster to move forward from this type of loss

While I understand blaming the coaching staff for overall success; the QB is supposed to lead the team not just run plays. Manning made it happen. Sayin depended on the coaches. Now, this is just my opinion because I never liked Sayin from the start.
