Game Thread tOSU at Texas, Sat. Sept 12, 7:30 pm ET, ABC

He ran the plays but he didn’t settle. He made the plays work when it counted. He scrambled and moved around in the pocket. Was it the play or the QB’s adjustments that earned those 4th downs?

Well the defense going into a soft 3 man rush shell certainly helped Arch.

One team was being hyper aggressive the other was just going through the motions because the coaches thought they could just play the game out and be fine. That was the difference. That's on the coaches

It’s all on the Iowa game.. we lose that and it’s curtains.

We can’t afford to schedule games like this when it’s clear 2 losses is the max allowed.

Iowas offense is complete booty juice. Hank Brown isn't pulling off this kind of shit against us and I was RBs are meh too. They aren't losing that game unless some shit maybe like Sayin getting hurt.

I do blame the coaches but I also blame the QB for being so passive. The Bulldogs or Alabama, in their heyday, would have put at least 50 on Texas tonight.

The 90+ yd td drive had 3 or 4 huge chances for our defense to effectively put game out of reach and they couldn't capitalize once. Thats when I had a very bad feeling. Then offense no shows and kicker missed the fg
Complete team meltdown
When they went for 4th and 6 form their only 32 and got it. You knew the O needed to step up. Unfortunately they went for jugular and threw it too far though I'm not sure Smith is inbounds if he catches that either way. I'm ok with that call from the 20 less so from the 30 just play to get the 1st down

Yeah I guess… that was just stupid.

This game?

I told everyone all week that OSU was going to roll. Then we did and then we just quit.

We freaking quit. Never seen this.

As it’s been said, this is the kind of loss that turns a season
I don't think anyone "quit"....if they quit they aren't trying to stop Texas at the 1 yard line.

yeah he certainly looked passive on that long pass to Roberts....

Seriously. We get you hate Sayin for some inexplicable and illogical reason, but Sayin was NOT the issue tonight. There are larger systemic things you should be focusing on if you want to figure out the root cause.

His hate for Sayin seems to be that Sayin lacks Archs mobility lol. How dare Sayin not make plays that he's literally not physically capable of

Much like the Miami game he could have won the game but I wouldn't say he lost it either.
