Game Thread tOSU at Texas, Sat. Sept 12, 7:30 pm ET, ABC

I have been Ryan Day's biggest supporter over the years, but I'm done. This loss was inexcusable. Day failed to go for the jugular (he never does) and he essentially tried to run out the clock for the entire second half. Gutless football, play not to lose, choke the game away.
This is where I'm at.

Urban makes it 45-3 sometime in the 4th quarter. Tressel takes the air out of the ball entirely and goes on an 8 minute drive.

 you win dumbest post of the year award in week 2. Congrats.
That was literally the worst game management in the last 1:30 that I have ever seen at big time cfb. 2 call 2 timeouts on D? To not tell his players to let them score to give us enough time to mount a FG drive ? Inexplicably bad. He should know better but he doesn’t. He is a great recruiter but a horrible game coach. Not even average.

This was a very tough early season game for a team replacing so many starters. The early turnovers flattered them. They could lose to Indiana as well at this point, but I have a feeling that they can pull this together and make a run this year still. The loss was largely due to coaching and the rebuilding of the soul of this team, after this loss, will rest on the coaching staff to the same degree. I'm not ready to think this will blow them up yet.

How many goal line stands did we have over the last 2 seasons. I can see why he didn't want to give it up.

I don't know. This was an all time choke job, this is much harder to bounce back than just a regular type of hard fought road loss. I'm expecting 3 losses at this point.
