Aside from the blocked punt, that was an absolutely dradful half of football...and still only down 7. Better get a stop to open the 3rd, though...

How is it possible this game just keeps getting worse?

The only thing that hasn't put me in a coma just yet is that we should and could be down by MUCH more than 1 TD. We've spotted them 7 and left 8 on the board, that's an 8 point lead with execution. If the changes can be made, which they have time for, the game can be won. Not over by a long shot.

I'm not sure our team is as good as we want to believe, or worthy of the top 5 ranking.

We'll see in the second half.

NW isn't too bad themselves and this is the biggest game in their history. I knew this was going to be a huge challenge. We'll still come out on top

I'm not giving up on the season, but I've had my doubts and the first half didn't help them.

Northwestern might just be better than us. The Bucks have 30 minutes to show otherwise.

I don't know....something hasn't been right with this offense since the end of the 1st quarter against Wisconsin....

Just got borderline dominated by Northwestern in 30 minutes of football.

Ugly half. We'll see what we're made of in the second half. I feel like we saw Northwestern's absolute best, and we're as flat and sloppy as we've been all season -- that we're only down a TD gives me some hope in terms of how little we need to do in order to turn this around.

I mean, brutally bad half in all three phases, and we're only down 7 on the road against a ranked team. I contribute that more to dumb luck and a couple big plays than anything else, but this team has to be capable of outscoring the Wildcats by 7.5 after the half.

So buckle up and let's go for the ride.
