That's the whole point - you'd have to stop ohio state with the ten guys you have out there anyway and then stop them again with eleven men. Unless...

Regarding the last two plays - if the ND MLB was as special and intelligent as the announcers made him out to be, maybe he could have shifted the defensive front over a bit.

If he was intelligent he would have stopped the play with an encroachment or unabated to the quarterback penalty. That was their best choice I think.

I'm just as pi$$ed as anyone about this game but...

It took horrible officiating, bonehead coaching decisions and Pete Bercich type plays for OSU to beat ND last night. I think ND showed when they need to lean on the run they can overwhelm a top 5 team. As long as they keep their minds focused and don't pack it in, this season can still be special.

I hate, I mean hate crying about officials. But tonight was absolutely ridiculous. Just look at the holding by Marvin Harrison Jr on the 61 yard TD; it's as blatant as it gets. ND is not talented enough to beat a top 10 team and the officials.
