Game Thread tOSU at Nebraska, Sat October 8, 2011, 8 pm ET, ABC

This team fought hard - got down after the Brax fumble and even further down when he went out. I can only hope his ankle heals fast because the future is bright with him. Other alternatives - not so good and yet he is a Buckeye who has been loyal to the cause playing behind others.

That's about the LAST injury Braxton needs to have... He had a nagging ankle injury all throughout high school. Not good. :(

That was a terrible play. Not sure it was selfish, but certainly a case of reading one's own non-existant press clippings ahead of time, perhaps. It's amazing how fundamentals always seem to be the first thing to go anymore.

Being selfish and abandoning fundamentals are one in the same to me.

That's out of bounds.

Those are called "Bausermans".

Yeah, we had a freshman QB with an ankle injury last year. He was looking all world up till that point.

Then, the next thing you know, he's getting cussed out by his QB, his dad is being called a helicopter parent, he's rumored to have left the team, yada yada.

Can we all agree that Bauserman CANNOT see the field ever again?

Guiton over Bauserman.

Hell, I'd rather have Jordan Hall run the wildcat over Bauserman not giving the receivers a chance.

He will get booed like no other at the Shoe and no one wants that

Tyler Moeller for QB!!!11!1!1!

Dare I say I'm happy with the result? Well, not happy, but compared to last week, I'll take this loss and acknowledge that the Bucks lost to a team of equal/comparable skills, on the road, and showed abilities on both sides of the ball. I saw a team with a shot at winning in Champagne and going on to be bowl eligible.

My only question; where is Kenny Guiton? We already know what Bauserman can/can't do and in 6 or 7 games he's gonzo from this program. Is Kenny that far behind Joe that he doesn't get into the game? If Braxton goes down in a game next year we have to bring in a junior with zero snaps in meaningful competition.

What else is there to say? Maybe tOSU won't get Zooker'd next week and will pull off a win. No confidence in the Wisky game. A win at Indiana and Purdon't. Toss up PSU. And I hope to god they beat the team up north. Don't care how, but it is sorely needed.

Braxton is good, Bauserman is bad. Offense looked like it was getting better, but not without a QB. Defense looked like it was still good, but it has some serious problems lurking underneath. Coaching was mostly horrible, and I wish I could chalk it all up to inexperience. At least special teams played well tonight.

On to the next...

I thought the same....

And this is no MSU '98... Saw is right

The collapse is epic enough, but we were so much better and the oppostion was so much worse it is incalculable. Plus we were at home...

So yeah, like Saw said, fuck whoever brought that giraffe abortion up again
