Meh. No captains is just another way of saying there are no leaders. There are no leaders because there are no established seniors. Sweat? Brewster? Any other players that aren't suspended?

Gotta call a spade a spade here. This was, in November of last year, a national championship caliber team. Tat-gate just happened to fuck us hard, and we're going to have to take those lumps. I have no doubt that with Tress & Pryor this team is steamrolling right now, and that doesn't even count Posey or Boom or Adams.

Shit happens.

On the bright side, we have three wins in the bag and didn't lose to Toledo!

Had Miller not gotten injured, the offense could've held the ball longer and moved it at least into Nebraska's territory, mitigating or stopping the momentum swing. Miller's injury was by far the single biggest factor of the game.

I definitely have a problem with it. I was saying that I don't disagree with the consensus that he played poorly. He has no business seeing the field for this team, even under tonight's circumstances.

However, none of the stats you cited have a lick to do with missed tackles, poor angles, lack of will or the 28 points allowed in the second half.

Giving up a three TD lead in the second half is a DEFENSE problem. Even if you want to say that the defense gave up because of the presence of Bauserman, that's STILL a DEFENSE problem.
