Game Thread tOSU at Nebraska, Sat October 8, 2011, 8 pm ET, ABC

They'd had 2 second half 3-and-outs prior to the Miller fumble. After that:

2 plays, 23 yards, touchdown
7 plays, 82 yards, touchdown
5 plays, 24 yards, punt
7 plays, 72 yards, touchdown
4 plays, 78 yards, touchdown

These weren't gut-wrenching exhausting 16-play drives (ala Illinois or LSU 2007) where UNL wore them down. They got absolutely gashed repeatedly.

I'm not arguing that the offense helped them at all. Not even a bit. But I just can't place the blame on the offense when the defense implodes so dramatically.

Who the hell is arguing that he is a great QB?

I agree with you, it's tough though when our offense probably averaged about :40 for each possession, that's not enough time for the defense.

And your post ignores the fact that the OSU coaches didn't perform as well and that the receivers weren't blanketed (rewatch Joe's picked, and you'll see that Philly had the Neb DB beaten by at least 3 yards, but Joe under threw him).

And YOUR post ignored Jobu. /end

As horrible as this game was post Miller this game still gave me my hope back for the rest of the season. Hell if Miller is back I feel like we can even hang with Wisconsin this year.

I don't know about the second sentence, but I'm fully on board with the first. Hope that ankle is rock solid next week, and then the bye comes at a good time.
