Up 21 points in the 3rd quarter, ANY Ohio State team should be able to win without any further contributions from the offense.

While I agree with you, you can't have the defense on the field for 25 of the last 30 minutes. I'd bet 99 of 100 times that team will come back to win just because of defensive exhaustion

Losing Brax was the turning point. The Baus will be remembered for his long balls sailing into the stands. Screen passes and shorter routes to WRs could have been tried a few times. Make a first down and move the chains. Questionable playcalling ...

I hope Miller returns, sad to say we can't survive with the Baus.

I see excuses from posters that sound just like ESPiN commentators. BS!!! This Program is not ready to do diddly. The leadership bears all the blame. Treat this like the military treats a unit. Six DUIs in a seven day period...guess who gets the evil eye from higher?

How can anyone say the d lost the game? Once again, they played tough. The defense doesn't over throw receivers horribly, the defense doesn't stop the offense from moving the ball, the defense doesn't throw picks into double coverage. The d is expected to give up points, a 5th year senior is expected to move the ball. If he doesn't, put in someone who does. 1 for 12 is not a great QB, so sorry for all who think that is.

Defense quit when the realized they weren't getting help?

They gave up 14 fast points before Bauserman had taken his 2nd snap.

He gave up 7 with the INT.

Bullshit. That was at Nebraska's 22. It was the equivalent of a punt. The defense gave up the 4 play, 78 yard drive after that.

Bauserman coming into the game is no excuse for the way the defense played. I don't know which is more sad - the very idea that a player that isn't even part of that unit could be responsible for their execution, or the fact that it even seems plausible at this point.

Bauserman had to come off the bench with far more time remaining in a win at Illinois last year. This team is capable of playing defense in spite of his presence.

Poor angles, poor tackling, lack of physicality, and lack of will. All of those things are on the list of reasons for this loss ahead of
