tOSU at Navy (M&T Bank Stadium), Aug 30th @ 12pm ET, CBS Sports Network

1st Half Observations:
THIS IS A YOUNG TEAM ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL.
We need much better pass protection by the OL. That is the BIGGEST disappointment in the first half.
Impressed with Marshall, Samuel and of course, Wilson on Offense. We got the speed down with the skill guys but need to get the power game back. JT needs to get better at decision making.
Perry has impressed on D as has Washington and Bennett. Overall, only giving up 7 pts. to a veteran Navy Offense is pretty decent.
Here's hoping for a huge 2nd half for the BUCKS...

The fan in me wants to say we've seen Navy's best, and the adjustments and room for correction at the half favors us.

May be wishful thinking, as the realist in me thinks our issues are going to take weeks to properly correct, not minutes.

Just do enough to get the W. Then do that next week. Just keep getting better.

It would be an unnecessary understatement to say that the calls and ball placements have gone the way of Navy in the first half. Finally, a break in the final seconds.

Fine, but no Braxton Miller or not, the game shouldn't be so close that it matters.

Lots of silly mistakes from the Buckeye youngsters. Time to coach 'em up and come out playing disciplined football.

O is moving the ball. Just have to finish drives. JT made rookie mistakes and that's ok. Second half will be a different story.

I think we can be very proud of the D so far this game. They have only given up one score (by negative inches) and have been up against a tough offense executing well. 3 trips to the red zone is promising as well. JT will make plays and will learn from his mistakes. The only unit I think needs to improve I'd the OL. Other than that, this game is not really going so poorly.
