We need to name Miller the starter and build for the future and stop kidding ourselves that Bauserman can be Craig Krenzel this year.

They should have been doing that since day 1. Yet the coaching staff is on the hot seat and trying to save their jobs. They are interim, know it, and didn't want to put their jobs on the shoulders of a Freshman QB. Yet in the end they just put a huge nail in their coffin. It will take a remarkable turnaround for them to be here at the end of the year, especially since they have messed with Braxton so much to this point.

It's going to be a long season. I hope they turn it around, but so far this looks like the worst Ohio State team in about 11 years.

Poor preparation on O..not having a QB and its week 3..not ready to start the game...on the bright side OL and Jordan Hall..Defense was ok but you cant be expected to score 14..I'd have more respect with the coaches if they went with Joe B everydown this season but they basically admitted they don't know who to play..Joe B running a zone read Brax under center in the I ..I don't get it..

Love my Buckeyes, win or lose. Especially proud of our defense tonight, and while it will be a long season, it will be fun watching the young kids learn and grow into another strong Buckeye team in the coming months and years. :osu:

Just switched over to watch FSU's freshman QB throwing 30 yd outs out of his own endzone. Why can't a SR throw a screen?

their receivers were catching the balls. I can't lay all the blame on Joe. We have some inexperienced receivers playing. I don't know if things will help when Posey comes back. Double Stoneburner and who else do we have?

I don't know how you stay with Baus after this game. He'll face more pressure in our conference games than he faced today, and that does not bode well based on what we've seen so far. Braxton has to start, and if he doesn't...seeing Baus on the sideline laughing it up instead of focused and fired up with the way the offense was playing...that really did not help my opinions of the situation. Fick needs to forget feelings, and Joe needs to realize its about working towards the future.

Luke has to be thinking "what the hell was I thinking accepting this job?" OSU is not the place to get your feet wet as a head coach. I really wish he would have gotten a MAC job a few years ago. Good chance he would have been ready when his number was called at OSU

I think that we need to remember that this year probably would have been a bit of a struggle if our off season had not included any suspensions, or coach resignations. Remember we lost a good portion of our defense from last year due to graduation, then add in half the starting offense, and the coach for their "crimes", and that equals a rebuilding year or two. This is a middle of the pack big ten team at best. I don't mean that as dig at all toward them, they are young and inexperienced, and some of them aren't as good as the players they replaced (just a fact of life, if they were better, they would have been starting in the first place). I think they played hard, I like that the O line was moving people, its not going to be big 10 champion type of year, but maybe we can get some experience.
