so...im not proud of what im about to post, but this is what happened after Posey dropped the ball in the endzone

Sometimes the conservative play calling makes me crazy...but not today. We threw the ball deep, but our receivers had two really really bad drops and several minor ones. I don't like to dump on players, but if DP and Pillly caught those bombs, no one would be griping about conservative play calls. Well maybe some would. But I don't think the play calls were all that conservative today. Agreed, we should have punched it in from the 1, but we threw the ball deep, we went for it on 4th and 10, we couldn't run inside well, tried a little option junk that didn't work. But heck JT is never gonna be June Jones. Thank God.

Plus after the drops (except the last one) you could see the frustration in TP build and that is not usually a good thing as it usually results in trying to force something to happen. As for Iowa not being a very good team, they whipped MSU who beat Wisky who beat us like a drum. I know they lost last week but they are a pretty game bunch that has lost some games they shouldn't have. Be glad your not a Iowa fan, that would really suck.

By the way is Philly ok after getting his head yanked around after that drop? He's a going to be a good one.

He came back into the game, so I think he's OK.

By the way, that play proved to be educational for me. Prior to that, I had no idea that yanking someone's facemask is OK so long as it's for the purpose of breaking up a pass.

I have a 10 year old boy, two girls under 2, and my wife is a big-time klutz.

Our kitchen looks like that after every meal.

Just got back from the game. Great atmosphere, had a blast. We sat in the endzone right behind all the Block O students who had made the trip. Great group of kids.

A win (especially on the road) is a win. But man from where I was sitting, the refs were just terrible. That last drive for Iowa, two plays were just blatant holding no calls right in front of Stanzi. I don't know how a ref doesn't call that.

My favorite parts were meeting so many great Buckeye fans, but also realizing after Iowa turned it over on downs, that it is now M#ch*g$n week and thus singing "We don't give a da*n for the whole state of ...." at the top of our lungs.

Woohoo. Go Bucks!

Also just got back from the game.

First off just wanted to thank the Iowa fans, sat in section 111 (an Iowa section) and cheered loudly for the Bucks throughout the game. Didn't receive a SINGLE negative comment from a fan. Also didn't think the crowd seemed very loud or hostile given the circumstances of the game; but it was a good atmosphere.

The pregame show with the jets was amazing, have scene similar acts, but never where the jets seemed so close to the stadium.

The halftime show where they honored wrestling legend Dan Gable was also something I was very glad that I was able to see. To see the greatness of ones life summarized in front of 70+ thousand fans who all care, while one of the toughest guys the world has ever scene, fails to hold back the tears despite efforts was special to watch.


PRYOR: Towards the end of the game I was going ballistic when he ran out of bounds making it 3rd and 1 when he easily could have got the first himself I was going ballistic. Does the guy really dislike contact that much? Was he this scared of contact before his knee troubles or has it gotten worse since his initial injury?

Watching Pryor run that, I thought he got the ball to the first down marker. The officials marked the ball poorly all day.

Pryor ran for a first down, I think right at the beginning of the second half, and Gash hit his helmet right on his right pectoral --- Pryor kept holding it the rest of the game; I was thinking he got banged up pretty bad on that play.

Like I said (above post) - He got popped on a 10 yard run right up the middle, early in the second half. He was rubbing his collarbone/shoulder area and windmilling his arm around on the sideline --- he's going to be pretty sore this week.
