Worse than anything even Texas did. Just unbelievable. Not one ref was watching?
No such thing as a borderline loss or win. Its a subjective emotion. Objective. Facts. Its a win. I. Like. Winning. Buckeyes won. After the worst roughing call I’ve seen and a terrible no call hold on that throw, I think that’s bullshit. Especially after having a lead for the entire 2nd half.
I get that it wasn’t a pretty win, there are injuries, and this isn’t a championship team, but god damn. This was their first home loss and only their 3rd loss in 3 years, 2 now by OSU. They probably have the best OC/DC pair by far because none of them will fucking leave. Also, poor ole Indiana has two top 15 draft picks out wide and one of the better OLs.
Do what you will, but there’s not much pointing watching these games if you’re going to treat a huge win as a borderline loss.
I thought I was rewatching that sad ass bowl game against Mizzou. I took Woody’s course, but I never coached football. So those of you in the know fill me in on what goes on in practice. How many reps does a #2qb get in a normal week? Based on Mizzou and today, Buckeye back up QBs look like they are nowhere near ready.Bueno, I think I was losing my shit too much to notice
I knew the 2002 team was going to be championship caliber after game 2."Huge strides" is right. I agree that they don't look like a national championship team. But when did you think the 2002 team looked like one? There wasn't a single point after any of the first 13 games that I thought they had a chance of hanging with Miami.
They have a lot of improvements to make. Maybe losing Sayin for a couple of weeks is the 2026 version of 2024 losing to the cheaters.
Not a coach either, but from what I’ve heard, backups don’t get a whole lot of reps because the starters need to be ready. And this is an issue with every team in the country with NIL. The starter is making a good amount, so the backup is either an underclassmen with little experience or a place holder from a lower division who’d be just as green. IU faithful were just as worried when Hoover went down. They will need to lean on the OL massively to power the run game. Many fans will clamor for TSC because he’s big and can throw a ball over the mountains. But can he read a defense is the biggest issue. Can he give fast reads and make split decisions in the most complex offense he’s ever been in?I thought I was rewatching that sad ass bowl game against Mizzou.
