Pluses:
Offense, and McCord were much better in the 2nd half
Chip is a bull.
Stover is looking like a legit threat at TE and has obvious chemistry with McCord
Defense did what they should

Minuses:
O passing touchdowns
What has happened to Henderson? He was so promising as a frosh and is so ordinary now
Chemistry between McCord and the stud WRs needs work

Learning experience. Get the offense going the next two weeks and off we go...hopefully.

Few things.

A) Disappointed in the offensive staff. If it wasn’t close then just say so and give McCord all the reps in camp. To state it was even, split the reps in camp and then not to play them equally did everyone a disservice. What a botched start to the season.

B) Even when Devin was in I didn’t feel a spark. I’m legit concerned about the QB spot. Spare me the Minnesota/Stroud comparisons too. CJ threw a tipped pass INT and then rebounded to throw for multiple TDs to his NFL WRs. Egbuka and Harrison finished under 50 yards COMBINED.

C) anyone expecting 250 yards from Henderson hasn’t been watching. All the tools are there but his vision is very troubling.

D) where was the pressure on defense? All this talk about the defensive line and again nothing.

It’s a win vs a conference opponent but otherwise just a very blah game.

I like the cut of your jib. Was going to post the exact same thing.

Was it great? No. But it certainly felt like it could have gone a fuckton worse.

Impressive work by the D considering they had no idea what they were going up against. Indiana rebuilt so heavily in the portal Coach Knowles must have had the videographers scrubbing FCS and high school tape on some of those guys.
