you don't know 1 person who has the BTN?

Most of my friends are NFL fans who spend their Saturdays keeping out of their wives' doghouse so they can watch the Steelers/Browns on Sunday.

Regardless, that's not really my point.

any BPers making the trip? The wife and I will be driving down from Chicago Saturday morning. If there is a BP tailgate or any type of get together, let me know.

I go to this game every year....whether it is in Champaign or Columbus. I have gone to this game since 2001. I am going to miss it this year. I have a good reason though. My son was born last week....He is hoping for a big victory:oh:

It's bad enough I have to miss OOC games on the [strike]Screw You[/strike] Big Ten Network but when I miss conference games because of it I get [censored]ed off.

I'm sure BTN is great if you have it, but if you don't you've actually lost coverage rather than gained it. Games that used to be picked up as regional "ESPN Plus" games are just not on in your area now.

I can't wait to read about the game after it is over. :ohwell:

I hear ya, man. I'm in western Pennsyltucky with armstrong cable. I call or e-mail them at least twice per week asking when they are getting BTN. I think they may have tuned me out. :wink2: When I can't find any other alternative, I go to my parents' or sister's place in Cleve. You're welcome to chip in for gas and ride along.

Illinois' QB falls more into Ohio's caliber than EMU's.

Scheelhaase is just a freak athlete learning to play QB. He will make some plays on Saturday. He will probably also make some costly mistakes. Either way, OU or EMU would kill to have a player with his abilities.

Illini OL Thornton may miss game.

link

Illinois offensive lineman Hugh Thornton was arrested over the weekend following a fight at a bar and may not play this weekend against No. 2 Ohio State. Illinois spokesman Kent Brown said Monday that coach Ron Zook has not decided whether Thornton will play on Saturday. He said Thornton is practicing.
Champaign County State's Attorney Julia Rietz said Thornton was not charged in the fight. But after allegedly admitting he used someone else's ID to get in the bar, she has filed paperwork to revoke his court supervision from a 2009 arrest for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. . .

This is the third time out of five games that Eric Collins and Chris Martin will be on the commentary crew for the Buckeyes.

I don't mind Charissa Thompson.

Although OSU won the previous two games, so I can't really complain too much about the commentary.

You can always try finding a stream. Sometimes on the game thread some of the members find a stream and post a link.

Well I haven't followed Illinois too much but I thought their QB wasn't that great? Reading some of the posts here sounds like he's Vick2.0?

What's his story? does he have the talent to make us pay on the backend? I'm not worried about the run defense, but color me concerned about our pass D.
