tOSU at Illinois, November 28th, Cancelled

I don’t know how you can play this game at this point. Ohio State will likely have players and coaches who are carriers on the field who just haven’t tested positive as of today. They need to cancel and hope it’s not so bad that we can still field a team against Michigan State and Michigan.

I think that you’d have a difficult time getting that horse back in the barn. Whoever has contracted or is a carrier is done regardless of whether they play on Saturday or not.

This has the potential to end the season for the Buckeyes depending on how bad the situation gets...

Yup. If it is so bad that they can’t field a team the next 3 weeks, they’ll get to maybe play one more game and a bowl game.

Everyone knew you needed to keep COVID out of the locker room for this season to work. They couldn’t. Not sure it was reasonable to ask them to be able to keep it out. But they didn’t and this could be it for the 2020 season. Damn.

And so is everyone who gets it from that person. This includes Illinois if we play that game. I know we tend to only care about ourselves and the impact on our team but Illinois shouldn’t want this game to be played.
