Agreed... i was rooting for scUM to beat bammer, but at the time i was also a realist and knew they would get plungered. I think you're not giving enough credit to the power of The Ohio State brand though. They'd be foolish to lock us out and throw away all that moneyI know that it makes no difference who people root for. And now that they officially can't do anything to help us, I'm all in on wanting to wallow in some Vulvarine misery ever game, though I'll root for them in their bowl. What I can't fathom is people slobbering at the bit to watch them get blown out by bama last year or drop their ooc games this year. Those are things that will directly influence Ohio State's ability to play for a national championship.
It was only a few weeks ago, that some people were shouting me down for daring to hypothesize that an undefeated Ohio State could end up locked out of the nc game. Now, we're staring at the possibility of getting knocked back into fourth by frickin' Baylor. Baylor! And don't think that there wouldn't be a chorus of pressure to bump Stanford over us if this were next year for the last spot in the four team playoff. Strength of conference does matter and strength of our historic rival matters a great deal. Unless hating Michigan means more than the thought that Ohio State players working and sacrificing towards a goal might get shut out over things beyond their control.
Somebody stuff a football in these announcers mouths.
Did Philly not want to run to the open part of the field there?
