Game Thread tOSU at Illinois, Nov 16, 12 ET, ESPN

Listen to the fucking espn announcers blatantly working the angle/planting the seed of Baylor passing us by and now sucking ACC cock.

We really need the entire top half of this conference to step the fuck up and win big OOC/bowl games. One or two teams doing well will never be enough to override the espn spin and hate in the larger perception.
Other than MSU and Wiscy, I don't see many bowl wins coming....

It's not just them. Yahoo ran a pos article today about how tOSU hasn't played anybody but Wisky, but NIU isn't getting nearly enough credit for beating a tough Iowa team.

We need a playoff that gives automatic bids to conference champions so we don't have to beg and plead the idiots to vote us into the top two spots.

Why do they speak to "pass Ohio State?"

Check out the Nobel Prize winning work of Kahnemann and Tversky 1979. They showed, and neuropsychology has confirmed, that "losses loom larger than gains".

By that, I mean that, given the same probability, people will be much more concerned about the chance of losing an amount money than winning the same amount.

So, every time that they say something about passing Ohio State, the largest fanbase in college football listens to what these arseholes have to say.

Here's another thing to watch for: see how many times they say something like that just prior to a commercial break. They want to keep your eyes glued to the screen so that the market researchers doing audience counts get more eyes on the screen.

Ignore them. They're just reading from a script.
