Off to the e!spn boards?
:slappy:I can't even imagine how bad it was over there! If I thought here was bad, I'm sure I would've had an anyerism if I read that garbage. Besides, I find the ESPN board too easy to navigate, I'm a very intelligent person so I like to give myself the challenge to navigating BP.

I don't know what's been said already, but I just want to say I am damn proud of our Basketball Buckeyes for making a good showing in the Big Ten Tourney. I thought the Wisky win was solid, and beating MSU the way we did was so unexpected, I could hardly believe it was real. The Purdue loss was a bit disappointing, but they have a good team, and we didn't play poorly. The one thing that stood out to me over the conference tourney is that there are some great coaches in the Big Ten. Thad coached his ass off at the end of the Wisky game, great clock management. The OSU/MSU game was a classic, with Thad out-Izzoing Izzo. The Purdue game, I thought we had a chance to win, but PU is deeper, and made some good adjustments. They did a good job of taking Diebler out of the game in the 2nd half. I saw that some people were saying not to complain about the officiating. The calls weren't good, but didn't seem to favor one team. But, the one call I couldn't believe was the jump ball after Dallas grabbed a big rebound. The PU player didn't have his hand on the ball for more than a split second before Dallas ripped the ball away, and I don't think the PU guy even had two hands on the ball. Weak call, and at the worst possible time. We just made a play to get us back into the game, and it was taken away. A few calls that I thought went against us, but we could have played better. Anyway, good run, we got our 8 seed, and on to the NCAA. This team made some good strides throughout the season, and they can hang with some good teams. Go Buckeyes!!!

If there's someone who thinks officiating had no part in the outcome of this game, he or she is crazy.

The lack of calls on Turner alone were enough to impact a game.

Not saying that's the reason we lost, but it was a part of it for sure.. call me a whiner, I don't give a shit. I know what I saw. It was inexcusable, pathetic, and any other type of adjective you can think of. It was a disgrace for our conference to have a game called like that, especially a championship game. I'm proud that our guys kept it close, but not disappointed in them that they lost.

Litl.....all the + - is, is a analysis of how the team performed with you on the court. When BJ was on the court today, Purdue went on runs, and really dominated the game. When Dallas was in, for a majority of the game, Ohio State defended well, and played good offense.

Just a guess, but I bet Dallas was a + today, with BJ being deep in the minus.
Oh, I understand the + and - and how they work but I don't put too much stock into them because there are too many variables say you would have to take into consideration for them really to be a legitimate statistic as I mentioned in my post. Opposing players were on the court, game situation, officiating, etc.
