Solid effort. Shots just weren't hitting or we would have at least taken it to the wire. At home we win the game. With Sully, we win by 15 there place or ours.

Agreed. There were a few plays where the Kansas player would make a backdoor cut, and no one would be there. I thought that was Ohio State's biggest issue, was not adjusting to Sully NOT being on the court.

My problem with the game was similar. We knew Sully wasn't playing. But I have never felt that Sully was a fantastic defender. Good, but not fantastic.

We did not challenge Kansas enough defensively. My #1 complaint.

#2, I didn't think we attacked the rim enough. too much perimeter play and not enough go in and attack the rim, maybe get fouled, maybe charge into somebody, but go to the rim!

I think the fact that it was the first road game and the fact that it was in a boisterous (hostile?) environment were both legitimate explanations for the loss. But Sully not being there? Thomas and Buford provided enough offense to make up for missing Sully's points; I hope Matta uses this as a big "teaching moment".

otherwise, eh, doesn't affect our Big Ten record so I can live with it at this point of the season.

Still think this should turn into one of the best teams in recent memory.

Go Bucks!

KU shot 9-17 3pt (52.9%) against the Buckeyes.

Shooting 4-20 3pt (20%) at the moment.

20% and dropping.

Get them away from home (and even this was a de facto home game) and they're a different team, apparently.

Davidson's making all their free throws. This one's over.
