true. I'm sure we wouldve done the same. :/ any data on that BB last time we beat a #1 team at home or any other team and stormed the court. greenies in it for ya

I thought it was Whisky in 2007. We were ranked #1 by one of the polls and I think they were ranked #1 by one of the other polls (AP?). Mike Conley hit a runner to win it for us....

Hey everyone, another badger fan here.

What a game. I was definitely not expecting that comeback.
Its always a memorable expirence when you storm the court/field...

I enjoyed reading some of your commentary about the game. First of all, I'm gonna have to agree with you on how horrible the refs are, from where I was standing it looked like they made a lot of bad calls against us. Obviously with the rest of you being Buckyeye fans, you probably noticed all the bad calls against OSU. Big Ten reffing is pathetic, and I don't understand why the league hasn't tried to fix that...
When we played Illinois at Kohl a couple of weeks ago, the refs called a combined total of 54 fouls... just terrible...

I was also horrified reading Sullinger's tweet about being spit in the face. What an @sshole. You don't spit on ANYONE, let alone a basketball player from a rival school. Classless, just plain classless. Doesn't matter how passionate you are about something (as meaningless as) sports, there's a point where your actions are just plain inappropriate.

I wasn't too excited about "Diebler Swallows" either, though the " _______ swallows" chant has been done at previous games this season.
I preferred "Jon Biebler" instead...

Also, ESPN can go pi$$ off with their ACC/Big East bias...

Now that the game is over, I gotta say that your Buckeyes are looking pretty good at this point. You're gonna do some damage in the tourny, that's for sure. I'm not looking forward to going to Columbus later this year, I've got a feeling that it will be a lot like Purdue, if not worse for us.
For what its worth, good luck with the rest of your season, we'll see ya again March 6th.

One more question, I stumbled across your site back in October when I was looking to download a copy of our Football game. Is anyone uploading or seeding today's game? I'd like to have a copy of this one also. Thanks!

Damn Congrats to Whisky on winning the National Championship ?!?!?!?!?!??!?!!?! Way to storm the court winning a home game. Hmmmmmmm. All the live stock better watch they're behinds tonight.

I WANTED them to go undefeated duh. I didnt THINK they would. Oh well, winning them all in march is what counts.

Fuck Michigan ????

Well you certainly don't storm the court when you win an away game.

Either way, I fully expected Wisconsin fans to do it, and as I've said before, it was inappropriate to do so. You storm the court for unexpected upsets, or last second victories. And to be honest, Wisconsin fans are generally too drunk to make it a safe endeavor for everyone involved.

For the record I was there in I believe 95' when we stormed the field AT Indiana when we clinched the Big10 title with a game or two to go. It was so chaotic at 13 I was able to sneak in to the locker room and get a TON of autographs lol

I hate storming the court. Especially when you yourself are a ranked team. That's even more embarassing.

This loss will probably help osu in the long run. Take a lot of pressure off of them IMO.

I only watched the second half, what did the numbers represent on the front of osu's jerseys? Looked like a tribute to someone or something.

Sports center reported that Sullinger was spat on after the game in the face. So they continue to embarrass themselves and piss off a team that they will see again - adding fuel to the fire. They play again on March 6th.

The patch was a tribute to those that died in a plane crash, one of which was the Buckeye girlfriend of our video coordinator.

Yep. As much as I hate all things Wisconsin, you have to give Bo Ryan some credit. Year in and year out they are a strong basketball team and they do it without blue-chip recruits. They have a good system and recruit the perfect players to plug into it. They might not always be a national player, but they're always a good team in the Big-10.

Eh, that's one way to look at it. Another way is to see that they're a beast to beat at home and are a good, but not great, team away from home. They're a perpetual underachiever in the NCAA tournament under Ryan.

Sadly, the classless behavior by UW fans didn't end with the spitting. The "Diebler swallows" chants and the "Overrated" chants are also dumb and embarrassing. The latter are particularly dumb, when you think about it--UW barely escaped (won by 4), AT HOME, and needed to absolutely catch lightning in a bottle in terms of shooting in the second half. Are those spitting fans really stupid enough to think that UW will shoot 50% from 3 point land (54% in the second half) in a game in Columbus or on a neutral floor, for that matter?

This reminds me of 2007, when both teams won at home and then OSU pantsed UW in the BTT, winning by 17.

The one thing that didn't make sense from Sullinger's tweet was that he got spit on before the game as well. How does that happen?
