I heard this list a few weeks ago, if I can have a career that resembles anything remotely like anyone on this list, I will have had a fulfilling career.

Watch it...

Er, uh, sorry :!

All I meant was if this is the top guys in the profession (which we all know they aren't), it doesn't say much that they can't find anyone better. It's like making a top 50 actors list and having Lou Diamond Phillips, Jean Claude Van Damme, and Don Johnson in the Top 20.

I see Verne Lundquist (#42) remains the most underrated person in this profession.

Another stellar point (The "Yes Sir!" putt from the '86 Masters alone warrants about 30 more spots up the ladder), though he does use the phrase "dandy" a bit much.

Agreed, even though his SEC slurpfest during football season makes me sick to my stomach.

At least he's broadcasting SEC games, so he sort of has to be...unlike the wonks at ESPN, who have no excuse, especially when they do it during games from teams of other conferences.

Before looking at that list, I tried to think of some of my favorite announcers over the years and one of them once Lindsey Nelson and so I looked at the list and he's down around #40 or something. There are no words to describe that list because it is that fuck bad:!
