Quite frankly, I can't think of anybody close...and that's saying something when you have Bo Ryan in your conference. Not to mention Fred Flintstone and his little Schmiegel Beilein copying his every move.

They lost to Syracuse in their own heads after five minutes or so. They were not properly prepared to beat a zone that four teams beat to end the year.
That is coaching and game management.

He never recovered after losing Rozanne.

It's not just that they came in unprepared (which they clearly did), it's that Crean and his staff failed to make adjustments at halftime. Crean is a very good recruiter, but a below average game coach. That team was as talented as any in the country this year and didn't get past the sweet-16.

In 14 years as a coach, he's made it past the sweet 16 once (hell, he's only advanced to the sweet-16 three times), and that was a decade ago with a transcendant player in Dwyane Wade.
