Yeah, I'll always be thankful for what he did here in his three years; but he's no longer a Buckeye, he's a Horn. It's not like he's a guy with deep Ohio roots who has always been a Buckeye. He was an outsider who came in and did some really good things before moving on. I cannot root for Tejas. Can't do it.

He was raised and went to school in so cal and a large majority of his coaching career has been in Texas. He's more a California or Texas guy than an Ohio guy.

I'm grateful for what Tom did during his time.. but his ego and arrogance seems to only match that of the UT... living here... I'm hopin the dumpster fire continues.

Eh all of the good coaches have massive egos so that doesn't bother me. You need that swagger to succeed. My hatred of Texas stems from the fact that it sounds like boosters need to stay their asses out of football business. It annoys me to no end when it people who have no business dictating football matters start poking their noses where it doesn't belong. I still think Charlie Strong is a good coach who continuously had to deal with UT booster fuckery and I fear Herman might fall into that same trap.
