Tom Herman (Former Head Coach FAU Owls)

I like Tom but I remember he did a interview on the radio in Houston and absolutely blasted the host for negative words he said.

Tom is wound tight and he needs to calm down. If he does things the right way and obeys the rules he shouldn't have anything to worry about with the press

I had/have a feeling that once Coach Herman got a real gig that threatens Ohio State, our love affair with him would shift a little bit. We're seeing the beginning signs of that.

No love affair. I thought he was an incredible OC, and we owe the NC to him almost as much as to Urban. However, there's no bigger schadenfreude in college football than watching Texas struggle, and I'm not going to give that up. Not for Tom Herman and not even if the ghost of Woody Hayes took the job. He's gone. He's a Texas guy (and always was a Texas guy deep down) so thanks for your time here, but it's done and over.

For me the harder decision is regarding the juggalos. Since I'd like to see Fickell come back as Urban's successor, I just might have to choke back the bile and watch that backstabbing clown college do well.

I can stomach them doing "well." If they're winning 9,10,11 games; they're fine. I cannot abide another atrocity like 2008 where those faygo-swilling clowns allowed their temporary window of quasi-national relevance go to their heads and start thinking they were anything resembling a competitor to tOSU for Ohio football supremacy. That aggression cannot stand, man.

Fickell is all Buckeye. So it would be awesome to see him excel there to the point that he can be considered a worthy successor to Urban. Of course, if he has 3-4 good years there, a real football program will come scoop him up. Because the juggaloes are nothing more than a stepping stone job.

If they were to get to the access bowl under Fickell, I'm pretty sure he'd make it clear to the AD and admin not to pull any of their childish shit. Now, I really don't want to see them do that well. If Fickell can turn the program around, give them some solid recruiting and win 9 or 10 games by year 3 or 4 and then sustain that level until the flagship calls, that would work.

Part of me reallly hopes Tom does well but part of me also hopes Texas struggles even longer.
I'm grateful for what Tom did during his time.. but his ego and arrogance seems to only match that of the UT... living here... I'm hopin the dumpster fire continues.
