Tom Herman (Former Head Coach FAU Owls)

That's the funniest thing. As the shag circle jerks themselves into a frenzy of certainty that Urban is all lined up and ready for the press conference, Herman is quietly doing enough to keep his job. If they beat ISU, they'll almost certainly move into the top 15 and meet OU in the title game.

And remember that it's taken as gospel over there that Saban really wanted the Texas job and was ready to leave Alabama for it, but it didn't happen only because the administration fucked it up. The same delusional bullshit will then start spewing about Urban having desperately wanted the job, and when Herman drops four games next year, it will just eat them up.

Looks like they're going for more of a Berkeley vibe now. Jesus, the delusional egos of that school. Everyone with a clear set of eyes about that school recognizes that they're Wisconsin without the football success.

They're UC in Berkeley in Austin?
That doesnt even make sense, but it does continue with the 'our academics are amazing' delusions.
Theyre like Ped State without the child rape, that we know of.
Marginally relevant occasionally in sports, grossly inflated opinion of their academics, and lose to Maryland.

Realistically, I know we'll never know that Urban rejected them if Herman keeps his job, but I'm going to assume that it happens either way.

I respectfully disagree. As an OSU fan with deep, long standing connections to the Meyer family you have an obligation to inform the Surly folks that the reason Tom was retained is because Urban said he needed another year or so before he could take the job at Texas. You know, there’s really a chance!

(Then next year: Rinse, Repeat to see this nonsense play out again!)
