I think Coach decided 1) its Toledo and 2) he'll give JB a whole game to see what he can do. Well we know that answer. 1) Toledo is better than anyone thought, and 2) JB is not perfect.

if he wants a chance to win the game..then yeah..he better play him. Do you remeber starting Boeckman against USC a few years ago and not letting pryor come in till we are down like 30 points, only to see him actually move the ball a few times? yeah.

If he's smart he'll play him.

Gentlemen, you need to read my answer again. I said I wouldn't expect Fickell to play Braxton next week at Miami if he didn't trust him enough to play him at home versus Toledo.

I did not say I agree with that decision.

Id rather have Joe B whip the ball 50 yards over peoples heads then have Braxton throw a pick and have Toledo get good field position. At least Joe played smart didn't turn it over and we pushed them back with punts. Not sure why Carlos Hyde was taken out. Toledo is a very well coached football team. The corners were clutch and so was Simon.

i don't have BTN. followed the game on my phone while reading commentary here, and i just have to give some props to the mods.
they worked triple time today. the thread was surprisingly clean.

i know, it wasn't meant to be an attack on you, i'm just stating if he doesn't we'll be lucky to win more than 8 games

1) OLINE gets a C- grade. Had their moments but they were limited.
2) Defense struggled with screen plays. Looked slow getting to the edge. Some missed tackles hurt.
3) Bauserman struggled most of the day. Where was the touch? Fickell not have confidence in Miller?
4) Simon is a beast.
5) RB's get a C+ from me because I thought at times they didn't follow their blockers and ran right into defenders. Plus the fumble in the 4th.
6) Special teams just have to continue to get better.

Right...it would be nice if they didn't have to police the "faithful" so much during game threads...let them enjoy the game and take care of the trolls instead.
