If you say that losing to Bama - whoops! I just saw where I let spell check and me check miss that I wrote "distracts" when I meant "detracts".

The first may be true, in a truly who cares way. It in no way "detracts" from the two MNCs. At least not unless you feel that losing to Florida in 2007 detracts from your epic win against Miami. I don't see how they can be related, nor how the 2009 season end detracts from the 2008 season BCSNC.

People think all kind of stupid [censored] every day. Sometimes very passionately. If they think that, then let them win some MNCs and a Heisman and then man up and be all stoic when they lose a chance at a repeat MNC. Good on 'em if they do. Freedom of speech and all that. The marketplace of ideas may say you are right and that Tim being upset over losing the chance to repeat is a huuuge negative and a stain on him. I'll take a passionate Morrison or Tebow over a guy who can smile after losing any day. Next time (in a decade or so) you lose to the skunk bears, I hope to God I see some crying Buckeye players.

I thought Bama dominated both sides of the line, and that their QB stepped up and made some great touch throws while showing calm and poise in the pocket. They were a better team that night - to me anyway. They looked more solid on both sides of the ball, with a better running game. Hated to have our best DT out, but I don't think it would have mattered. I think it was a classic revenge game, with Bama wanting to get even for last year. The fact that our guys were partying and breaking team rules the week of the SECCG says it all to me, motivation wise. But I could be wrong.

Anyone remember Jim Jenson who used to play for the Dolphins...

Tebow could be Jenson on Roids (or HGH, whichever is fashionable).

Make him the 3rd string QB, Gunner on Punts, 4th TE, 5th WR, 2nd FB, 3rd RB... mix in some wildcat... let him throw a few...

Dunno, someone can use the kid, but, he's no Peyton Manning.

Okay, he's slow Josh Cribbs.

Sorry Gator but anyone with access to that type of score, on the scale he had access to it, and passes just isn't very smart. I don't care what his test scores or home ec teacher say.

I heard on the radio (700 wlw - Cincinnati station) a little bit ago a Beat writer for the Bengals making a case that Cinncy should take Tebow in the 2nd round.....let him learn a few years under Palmer, then be ready to take over the team by using his versatility & to add a different dimension to the Bengals Offense.

(as a Bengals fan) I'm not saying I think they should be looking at him as early as round 2, but I'd also say after drafting guys like David Klingler and Akili Smith :sick1: over the years, it's not like it would be the worst move they'd ever made.

Tebow's 3 cone drill was so good that it was #1 for all QBs, RBs, and TEs, and was #3 for WRs. Granted, not all participated, but if a player does not do the drill, it is not usually because they would have put up a great number.

Tim is quick and agile, rather than fast, but his demonstrated agility and quick feet are a plus for a QB that few are talking about. He will be a steal for somebody in a lower round.

Well, josh Cribbs was a college quarterback, too. Not sayin' Tebow is Cribbs but he is built like a tight end.
