One of my favorite plays in NFL history, made possible by Polamalu cheating up on the run and no longer having the speed to get back in position.

Getting eliminated from the playoffs by Tebow's arm.

That was an inverted call, having pretty much nothing to do with Polamalu.

Doesn't make it any less sweet, but you can't really assign a coverage bust to someone that didn't earn it.

I think you guys are confusing Boston/NY sports media and fans with the fine folk of lower Georgia/north Florida.

Urban, Tebus and Lawrence are all heroes down there and the team has, pretty much, always sucked. There aren't going to be any fan revolts or anything like it for quite some time, if ever.

It's like people going to see a band, that was popular when they were kids, today. It doesn't matter that the 70 year old guys in the band suck now. It's a nostalgia thing.

Folks in the Jax footprint have themselves two white, god fearing southern Christian boys to root for. That plays down there, trust me.

Sorry if this has already been covered in this thread (just now catching up) but my Florida buddy just informed me that the #1 selling Jersey in the entire NFL is ... Tim Tebow.

He is of the opinion that this is just a move by Urban to take the pressure and focus off of Lawrence.

BTW the #2 selling Jersey ... Justin Fields.

Brady is #3 and Lawrence is 11.

I thought this was ALWAYS implied. Did anyone actually think that Tebow would only be a TE? I see his role like his frosh year at UF, but with him occasionally split out

I thought perhaps being a shitty NFL player and 8 years away from the game would've made his signing merely an opportunity to an old friend.

Ensuring him a roster spot and giving him a play package at QB seems ill-advised, even for Urban, who must have the biggest Teboner of all.

Tebow and the Jaguars agreed to a one-year, $920,000 contract, a source told NFL Network. It’s the veteran’s minimum for a player who has at least three years of NFL service, according to Spotrac.

Just sayin': First of all he has to make the team. If he does they are getting him for the NFL minimum for his years of experience. If he can play TE (or whatever), play on special teams, and be the emergency last string QB; he may be a bargain and even free up another roster spot.

Sportsbook sets TD prop of 2.5 for Jacksonville Jaguars TE Tim Tebow, with early money on under

It's the hottest NFL player prop bet in Las Vegas: over/under 2.5 touchdowns this season for Tim Tebow.

Last week, after the former Heisman Trophy winner signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a tight end, Station Casinos in Las Vegas put the Tebow touchdown prop on the board and took instant action, including a $2,000 limit bet on the under. Station's sportsbook has had an over/under prop on passing touchdowns for new Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford since late March. In just one week, the amount wagered on the Tebow prop had already eclipsed the handle on the Stafford prop.

"The interest has absolutely exceeded my expectations," Station Casinos sportsbook director Chuck Esposito told ESPN.
