I just don't understand why Ryan was so opposed to giving Tebow a shot after the 6th game when it was clear that Sanchez wasnt going to be successful

He was probably terrified of what he'd seen in practice happening in a game. There's a reason Tebow turned out to be the third-string QB.

Same w/ Pryor, but some don't want to hear that.

I have no problem trusting a guy like Bill Belichick or Mike McCarthy with their talent appraising.

Its another when you expect me to trust someone like Rex Ryan or ANYONE from the Raiders camp (since they have had 8 coaches in 10 years) and their player practice evaluations.

Tebow learns valuable lesson in NY

It has been an important life lesson for Tim Tebow, spending a year at the bottom of the barrel, a year with Rex Ryan and the New York Jets. Ryan and Tebow were never going to be a good mix, like oil and walking-on-water.

Tebow learned, finally, that sometimes you have to be selfish. It is the only way to survive in this world. Sorry if that?s not the best Christmas message. But Tebow had done everything Ryan had asked all year, bulking up, even playing special teams. He did it without complaint. And when Tebow?s time came, and Ryan finally realized that Mark Sanchez can?t play quarterback, he still didn?t get his turn. Ryan passed over him for some third-string guy.

Tebow's NFL career is probably over, as the new Jacksonville GM said he "can't imagine a scenario" where Tebow would be a Jaguar.

His only hope might be a CFL team desperate to sell tickets, but I don't know if he would even go that route. He may just move on and become a full time evangelist.

Tells me he's moving the team (owner).

Here's what I don't get....

If Taylor Martinez - who had the WORST THROWING MOTION EVER - can improve his mechanics over the off season, go to the Manning passing academy, and work with a QB Guru in the off season -

WHY CAN'T TIMMY?!?

This is all a moot point if he doesn't even try.

What'd it do for the kid? Made him the most efficent passer in the conference, if I'm not mistaken.
He passed for over 2800 yards at a 62% completion rate this year, with 23 tds and 12 picks. First time he's completed over 60% in his career.

This is the same guy who was JAVELIN throwing footballs for 2 years. He spent 3 1/2 months working. That's it. Huge improvement.

Taking notes, Timmy?
