Tim Beck (HC Coastal Carolina)

Now that the season is officially over and it's clearer what this guy did I'm getting more pissed than less.

Now that the phone call from the Governor definitely isn't coming, and we're all neatly strapped in to our outside-looking-in chair, there are a few moments of lucidity left to process how we got here.

It would be one thing if this season had been born in poverty *cue Elvis' In The Ghetto in the background* devoid of opportunity or nurture, but it wasn't.
It was born to wealth. Extravagant luxury. Riches most other teams can only dream of. No achievement should have been beyond its reach.
Yet, here we are left to contemplate a bleak conclusion to the year.

Pretty soon, I'm gonna need a chiropractor if I don't stop shaking my head over the waste that was this season. And the question: With all that you were given, how the hell do you let it come to this?

Cooper level job of doing less with more.

I fear how bad it could be with this buffoon next year if left unchecked.
It hurts even more when neither of the projected playoff teams are even close to the four that got in last year.

This is going to sting for a long time.

The man could ruin JT if they dont stop him early

That's what I'm most concerned about, honestly. As long as the line can take care of itself with Warinner calling down to an assistant while he's up in the box the scUM game relieved most concern about the play calling. QB development, on the other hand, is almost entirely on Beck, and I didn't like what I saw over the course of the year. Despite the split in playing time there should have been some kind of improvement, but I saw nothing.

Yea, I think 3 of the 4 playoff teams last year would easily win it this year. Even last year's Oregon team is on the mark with this year's Oklahoma (favored to win it from what I'm reading) Bama's '14 team would crush their '15 team.

I'm fine with no improvement after the split playing time, it's the regression that pisses me off. Takes a real special coach to make your players significantly worse.

Urban just said he will probably have same set up as The Game with Ed in the box. This speaks volumes. He's basically saying that even after a bunch more practice time, etc he still won't trust Timmy. He can put Ed in the box this last game because he has a veteran line. What happens next year when he doesn't? He can't baby sit Timmy and coach up a younger O Line.

I am fine with a small amount of regression with a young inexperienced QB for a game or two. BUT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT 2 QBS THAT WERE HEISMAN FUCKING CANDIDATES.

I have a feeling the day Beck is gone will be the best day I have ever had to be a Buckeye. Maybe ever better than beating Bama's ass last year in the playoffs?

What is this "playoff" of which you speak?
