Sucks but do not let him get down on himself. He has his entire senior year ahead of him and much more to follow.

I was just thinking about him about an hour ago when I was reading the Gill thread and was wondering if he was going to get to play against him this season. Guess not and for that I am sorry. Tell him to get well and we are all behind him.

Short lived senior year stats (He plays ILB)

game 1 = 11 tackles 1 sack
game 2 = 10 tackles 1 tfl
game 3 = 9 tackles 1 tfl

hope his rehab is going well...you could tell Sev and the Warriors missed his presence as the year went along....

thanks man! rehab is going fantastic so far. actually started light jogging/running this week. as well as starting to throw the baseball more. Once the Dr. said he'd be back for baseball his spirits went through the roof.

In a wrestling mood tonight...

We're almost done with the youth season and for his first year, Matthew looks decent. He dislocated his kneecap on December 18th and that set him back, but he's won 4 of his last 5 matches (3 pins) and he's pushing the starter in his weight class. Almost onto baseball and softball season :tired:

update:

rehab continues to progress nicely, he turned 18 yesterday and today he officially signed to play baseball at Owens CC in Perrysburg, OH. I couldn't be prouder

Kid's first game of the HS season tonight. Team put 20 up on the board... Lil Sparkbox put 8 in the back of the net and had two assists for 10-points on the night... and two forced turn overs on the ride... one of which converted for a goal. He's also managed to keep his 2-year streak alive of having the first penalty minutes on the team... kinda questionable call there though. Goalie came out of the crease and, well... shit's gonna happen when the goalie steps out. The kid probably caught him a with his stick, but I swear he went over his head and was a clean check.
