Now that I am done teaching, my no shave summer has started. Unfortunately my chin is itchy, flaky, and a little sore, so I need some beard maintenance assistance. Anyone want to share their winning combination for skin/beard care?

Do not wash your beard every day. Use conditioner. The itch is what makes a beard rare. Only real men can handle it. Sperates the men from the boys.

I don't necessarily mind the itch, but I need to do something about the skin flaking. I'll try the conditioner and see if that helps!

When it comes to the itching I just scratch the fuck out of my beard/skin where it itches until it stops..it then usually won't come back after the 1-2 day period.

well, it took me 2 weeks, but I can grow my facial hair back.
had a company meeting yesterday. Owner/CEO was discussing company goals, future plans, etc.

since it was my 1st such meeting with the company, he decided to put me on the spot. He asked me what were my plans/goals within the company.

I answered "I'm gonna take your job one day"

room went silent for a few moments.
Then he said "well hurry up so I don't have to do this anymore"

after the meeting, a couple dudes from the warehouse came up to me and said "telling something like that to the owner, you can have whatever kinda beard you want"

I just started a new job. Whilst filling out all the paperwork, I read part of the policy that said beards are NOT authorized. I looked at the manager, showed it to her, looked her in the eye and said, "I'm not going to shave my beard."

She looked at me for a second, and says, "just keep it neat and under control."

Looks like I will work there after all. Maybe have to take this manager to dinner.
