The deed is done. I made my wife watch to make sure the beard didn't overcome me. Not like she would have stood a chance against it. Really, it was more of a "keep an eye out to make sure it doesn't sneak up on me" type of deal.

She thought I was just being silly. :shake:

Day 172:

When I first started growing my beard, I promised I would grow it until my birthday. Well, my birthday is two weeks away. I'm not sure if I'll shave it completely off, or just go to the barber shop and get it trimmed neatly.

If I decide to shave it off compeletly, I will first shave it into something resembling this:

I am thinking of shaving the Arthur on the morning of my birthday, then going out that night and creeping people out.

I'll keep you all updated.

I've made it from "Stop Shaving September", to "Manly March".

Who knows...I may decide not to shave when the time is at hand...or my beard may rise up and revolt...killing me in my sleep. Time will tell.

Halfway through my hatchet job last week, I very briefly considered calling it quits and rocking a muttonchop (note the singular) for a day or two.

I came to my senses and chopped it off.
