Dear Media: The GPU change was developer facing. Unplugging Kinect does not get you more HP. Devs have to code to the new specs.

Horsepower and bandwidth are two very different things. If the machine isn't spending it's entire existence processing inconsistent kinect commands, it has more room to do other things.

My roommate was able to trade in a RROD Xbox 360 last fall when Best Buy was running a similar promotion.
