Just end it. I'd suggest that just as the survivors all seem to be getting their shyte together, the virus morphs again causing irrevocable and immediate death and zombification and then a pull back aerial view all the way into space so that we can see the futility of having spent the last decade watching it. Fin.

I still like TWD even with it's flaws, but I tried watching FTWD again and just stopped. Not sure I even need a spoiler, buttt...

Nick dies in the second episode this season. Why did they kill him? He left the show and even the writers admitted it. I think those characters are seeing the writing on the wall, although they are equally to blame for how bad it is.

Pretty surprised if the Andrew Lincoln bit is true, and would honestly be disappointed.

Or maybe like a number of diseases, the zombie virus mutates and survivors become naturally immune but still carry. It looks like the writers have run out of story lines which you see happen in many long running shows and they stagger to the finish line.

The problem is it will make zero sense for him to leave unless Judith is dead. He (AL) has spoken about “finding his wife and son as being what keeps Rick going” with zero mention of the other child he has. If he isn’t killed, they are going to have to deal with that.

So Morgan gone, Rick will be gone, Maggie will be gone, Hardwick is gone...not sure how they save this show beyond season 9. Supposedly the offered Reedus 20 mil to be the “top guy” but for a character they changed from complex to purely one-dimensional, I don’t know how that works either.

If everyone is more/less on the same time period right now (TWD and FTWD), I don't see why they don't just merge the two shows at this point.

I mean, Morgan pretty much walked across the entire United States like Forrest Gump.

It's probably time to end one of them.

Probably should have ended FTWD a season or so ago...that show is plain horrible now after such a promising start. I have liked TWD a lot, although there have been some very forgettable moments over the second half of the show. That being said, the writers better get really creative and just find a way to end this all in a way that makes sense, because dragging it on with the attrition they are about to experience would probably be terrible.

a thousand times this....this is what i went into it hoping and of course BAM it all fell in like 3 episodes
