Didn't even notice that was on. Too busy gardening, I guess. Actually haven't watched the original for about two seasons. I just check in here to see who's still alive on the show. FTWD had a moment or two in the first seasons, but, yeah, overall there wasn't much there. Probably the real reason I didn't notice AMC had it on.
I don't know if anyone watched the two-hour season premiere on Sunday, but...
...an already bad show kills off the equivalent of Rick Grimes (more/less) in the Season 3 premiere. So Daniel is off the show (for now) and now Travis is dead. And he's actually dead because they came out and said he's dead.
I don't know if Cliff Curtis told the showrunners to kill him off, since he is probably the lone actor on the show with other gigs, but I found it funny.
The showrunner said it was needed to advance the show. I'm thinking it will advance to cancellation.
Just ask yourself, what is the redeeming value of "Fear the Walking Dead" at this point. I only use the show as background noise if I'm doing something else. I don't watch (it's just noise).

Yeah....I quit just a few episodes into last season. It takes a lot for me to give up on a show, especially a zombie show. The Walking Dead is dumb, but hey.....it's got zombies! So I keep watching. This piece of trash show is just worthless. I was less than five minutes into an episode and found myself reaching for my phone because I just didn't care. Stopped, erased the episode, erased the 2 other episodes on the DVR, and cancelled the recording. Just seeing the commercials for it during Better Call Saul is enough to make me glad. Terrible.
While the Daniel episode was extremely good and I watched it after reading the last couple posts, this show has to go a long, long way to get me actually invested in it. Madison is just plain awful in this. Agreed that Strand and Daniel are basically the only characters I care about. The ranch owner has some intrigue but other than that, I just see little upside in the show despite what I thought were two good episodes in a row.
KIm Dickens errrrrrr Madison's acting still sucks but I am liking the last couple FTWD episodes.......... the mid season finale better have a ton of Mr Salazaar in it though!
