Too soon old, too late smart
liked the aggressiveness the back 5 played. At least it seemed to me there were 5 DBs on every play. they should get much better, given the class of the QB and the WRs that basically ruled the roost. OL seemed to be solid, as the DL looked as if they were getting after it every play (big difference from last season). Sorry folks, but I have to refer to my scorecard to see who's number is who's name, and jerseys without names didn't help me much. So don't know when a 2 replaces a 1, and what combination of OL/DL was being used. LB play still didn't look impressive, too many runs through teh gut, and not seeing any OL get to the second level. All in all, typical Spring Game. Vanilla D, touch on runs, wholesale passing attack. Guess the D eats hot dogs, and the O eats steak(?) after the game. Glad to see many young 'uns get 'blooded', could see their excitement.
