The Polls (AP, Coaches, & CFP, etc.)

I love how ND is nationally relevant again until they get beat down in the first round of the playoff. I just wish the tOSU team that showed up yesterday would have showed up the whole season. We'd be looking at getting to demonstrate to ND that they don't belong with the big boys in the first round.

I'm getting ahead of myself. I just hope this tOSU team shows up next week.

We beat scum. Go win the B1G championship. Then I don't give a shit what those fuckers say behind closed doors, this season's a win in my book.
Yep, especially if we end up winning a New Year's Six bowl and finishing 13-1.

Oklahoma had to go to OT at home against Army. Army. At home.
That shouldn't count as embarrassing?
Nowhere near as embarrassing as losing by 29 points to a team that had to win yesterday to even finish at .500...

Yeah, but has any team ever actually done that? Lose to an inferior opponent and then sneak into the playoffs as a 4 to whoop the shit out of Bama? Can it even be done?

I once heard legend of a team led by a backup QB with a shotgun for an arm, carbon fiber pads, and an iron will. Lacking experience, he was ever buoyed and carried into battle on a steady Cataphract; unstoppable in the trenches but with the speed of a thoroughbred. The kingsguard was uniformly stout; of one mind, one purpose, and vicious in preceding their leader and his trusty mount. Their scouts caught only touchdowns between leveling the defenders for the mighty steed to break through.

Disclaimer: feel bad reducing Zeke to a horse... but it's a common problem for RBs... in many ways Cardale did depend on and "ride him to victory".

Can't help feeling it's gonna end up going the other way. Just saying... the Hermans struggled against Kansas and OU has everything on the line.
Tim Beck can fuck us one last time.

Hard to handicap a rivalry game redeaux. I can think of Bama-LSU and FSU-Florida, both with a different result in game #2.

Home game for Texas, with the Arlington venue and more advance knowledge that UT was in the B12 CG. Still, that OU defense. I have to think that Texas is better than WVU

Beating a top 10 Tejas team and not losing by 29 to a .500 team is going to carry Okie into the playoffs over us, and the B1G champ will be coming out of the bathroom with nothing but its dick in its hand again. And of course if UGA beats bama, then it's 2 SEC teams in and both Okie and Ohio State sit home. At some point, Delaney and the B1G ADs need to take the Rose Bowl's cock out of their mouths and start doing what's right for the schools, the states and the region they represent. If Delaney really wanted to go to the mattresses and maybe bring the PAC, the B12 and the G5s along for the fight, we'd have an 8 game playoff tomorrow. He just chooses not to, which sucks because the B1G is the only swinging dick big enough to force a change against the ESPN-SEC-ACC Invitational.

Texas won't be top 10.

If Texas can at least keep it close and if we can put a beat down on NW then I think we go.

If OU wins big then forget it.

If OU wins at all they will have beaten every team they played this season. We would have to win something like 59-0 to even have a prayer - and I can't imagine that happening in a championship game.

And there is some anti-Urban sentiment out there because of the Zach saga. Lots of folks only know the McFuckface talking points. And Zach's continued drunk while mad posting. I don't for a minute think poll voters are above being that petty in a close vote. They won't say it out loud. Just say 'body of work' and vote like a bitch.

LSU 3rd loss to unranked team: -4 spots
Aggy +8 spots

Michigan 2nd loss to top10 team: -4 spots
WA St 2nd loss to top10 team: -5 spots
WVU 3rd loss to top10 team: -3

Interesting things I noticed
- Cinci drops to 29 after winning big... looks like there was some rallying to get Missouri into the Top25 (that fell short at 27)
- No move to bump OU above UGA despite a big win. If they beat Bama, I fully expect to see B1G, PAC, and BXII all left out. Part of me hopes that happens... but ratings were good last year so it's like the Apple phenomenon where people inexplicably buy overpriced junk because of media influence.
