Everybody is somebody else's weirdo.
Nobody thought Ohio State had a "snowball's chance in hell" of beating Miami in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl or beating Alabama in the 2015 Sugar Bowl (and then Oregon in the 2015 National Championship). You can't win the National Championship unless you get into the game. When the game starts it is 0-0 regardless of who is favored and both teams have a chance to win it.

The Rose Bowl this year could be a disaster as well though.
If Washington beats Wazzu (which is a definite possibility) it would be then against either a 3 loss Washington team or a 3 loss Utah team (Wazzu could lose to Utah in the PAC title game as well). Either way, little credit would be given for a win and many beatings would be given for a loss. Not an attractive matchup at all unless it would be against a 1 loss Wazzu team.

Mac and cheese on Thanksgiving? Cornbread, biscuits/rolls, since when is bread a side dish. Dressing, cranberries. Sweet potatoes, Mashed potatoes now those are side dishes....
