The Big Short could get a sequel based on the Buckeyes these past two seasons if that system was put in place.

Probably too early to worry about playoff rankings but we cleared the first of 3 hurdles to put the team in position yesterday. We got really no help this weekend with teams ahead of us plus Purdue laying another turd and the NW laying claim to B1G west division knocks down B1G champ game profile.
Looking ahead:
- WSU Cougs - has tough games against UW and Utah (P12 championship) - I think they can run the table however tOSU has a better closing stretch and would likely jump 12-1 WSU - depending on how things shakeout this is our NY6 matchup and it would be a blast to get a ticket to this game.
-LSU Tigers - remaining schedule is weak so if we win out we’ll jump the 3rd place SEC team
- WVU mountaineers - they have remaining games against Okie Lite and OK plus the BIG12 champ rematch against OK - don’t see them running through the state of OK unscathed however I expect them to split 1 with OK
OK - I see them splitting 1 of the 2 games with WVU (defense is too suspect) and once again BIG12 screwed by they’re lack of or having conference champ game. If the win out I think they get in over 12-1 tOSU with similar schedule strength and better loss than us
GA Dawgs - they’ll win out and hopefully lose to Bama - 2 loss Dawgs are out and another possible opponent for our NY6 matchup
scUM weasels - it will be settled on a glorious field in 13 short days. I think the ghost of Tressel and Urban Meyer are too much for the vulverines to overcome.
NoD Fighting Irish - surprisingly tough game against Cuse (although they’re not sneaking up on anyone) and a powder puff USC team. I think they run the table. 1 loss ND is out especially if we knock down they’re only notable win.
Clempson Tigas- remaining games against Duke, the Cocks and air in the ACC championship game. They’re D-Line is best in the country and they’ve got excellent coaching that I respect. They roll on undefeated and they’re in.
Bamer - remaining games against a Bavarian cream puff, Auburn and the Dawgs. They looked beatable last night against a far less talented MSU team. MSU has some horrible calls against them and some bad breaks right when they were picking up some momentum. They’ll be an unbelievably hard out for anyone however the Dawgs could nip them with some luck. The one thing that could hurt bama is they haven’t been punched in the mouth and handled adversity. At this point I think they roll and frankly as much as it pains me if we want in, they need to win out. Conversely if they lose and still get in look for this to be a catalyst to get an expanded playoff as contracts are renewed.

Zero doubt the top 3 you have there stay as is.
- I replace Wazzou with OU if they run the table. PAC 12 just gets zero respect (mostly warranted).
- If tsun wins out they will get the nod over OU.
- If OSU wins out they likely lose the beauty contest to OU but it depends on how they lok in The Game and B1G CCG in that scenario.

Fans of chaos should be rooting for Clemson to drop one of their final three. They could arguably be behind every other conference champ with one/zero losses. 1 loss ND also could be ahead with a win with a win over B1G champ. But I think we all know they will get Bama-lite treatment.

You really think there is any mystery at all to how the committee will handle the job of picking 4 from that?

Oh I think WAZZU would score points but I don't think their defense could match up with our O even with its current warts. Remember when the Buckeyes were going to get blown out by Oregon's offense...twice?
