The Polls (AP, Coaches, & CFP, etc.)

Ohio State 22
Northwestern 10

Day must have had NU plus the points and the under with how he called most of that game.

Obviously, I'll take the bid even if I don't like our chances but I won't be heartbroken if we're left out. This year's team never had the chance to fully develop with only half a schedule, and who knows if any of the guys who were out today will be back in time?

We could get embarrassed. I really don't want to see that.

Basically Bama takes care of business we're in. If they don't well it get's dicey because the Committee didn't drop Florida out of contention like they should have.

Based on what I’m seeing today, it’s Alabama, Clemson, and everybody else. Ohio State is number three in and capable of competing with these guys, but with the truncated season they haven’t had as much time to develop. Notre Dame is a fraud. I’m guessing Texas A&M is the fourth team in.

Just sayin': Bill Parcells once said "you are what your record says you are"; and needless to say, Northwestern was 6-1 ranked #14. They were undefeated and ranked #8 when they played Sparty. I don't think anyone would dispute the fact that NW is better than Sparty. I just wonder what they would have been rated if they had beaten Sparty. Anyway, I'm sure if they had, they would have gotten a lot more respect from the "talking heads" and it would have given Ohio State a much higher "quality win", etc.
