Preseason polls are only about hype to get people to click on articles and watching TV sets. That's it. Unfortunately it also sets expectations that may be unrealistic and/or unwarranted.

Clemson has #1 locked down already - have you looked at their schedule? Their "big test" was home against perennially overrated A&M. Alabama is getting one unless they manage to lose twice (still might push for #4 even if that happens), so the rest of us are fighting for two spots. Pencil in Georgia or LSU for a third and we're down to one.

It's basically Notre Dame (who can sit on their couches Championship Saturday), Ohio State, and Oklahoma for the final spot, unless they fuck all of them and put three SEC teams in it. Yeah, put me down for an eight team playoff - not six so they can hand Clemson and Bama a bye every year - eight.

Everyone keeps saying this and I disagree. Their hippie QB has tossed 3 picks through 2 games against subpar competition. I won’t be shocked if they drop two games. I’m anxious to see what happens with Louisville and NC.

They could crush the rest of their schedule, but I’m not as convinced as everyone else yet.

I'm not convinced they're a great team.
I am convinced they can sleep walk through that schedule.
Two teams making a killing off ACC scheduling and cant even meet in a Championship game.
