Exactly. When I do "B-1-G! B-1-G!" it's just to mock those clowns.

The only B1G team outside of Ohio State I was genuinely rooting for this bowl season were the Nerds (partly for the upset pick), although Iowa beating the cowbell fucktards was mildly amusing.

Right. I had a conversation with a friend of mine who moved south some time ago. He was all upset about how Auburn beat Purdue, and so on.. He kept saying things like "SEC is taking it to the Big Ten. This isn't good" and I kept saying things like "Wait.. the SEC is playing the B1G? Is this some sort of all star team? What channel is it on?" And then he said something about the shit he takes living down there being from Ohio. I said, Look, it's simple. Just tell those rednecks you're a fan of Ohio State, not the Big Ten. I don't feel a fucking thing when Iowa beats Mississippi State, and I don't give a fuck when Purdue shits down their leg. It means nothing to me. I don't feel anything at all. And then, remind those fucks that any Auburn fan rooting for Alabama deserves nothing but finger pointing and laughter. Any Arkansas fan who feels like he won something because LSU beat UCF only feels that way because his own team is fucking garbage.

I just don't get it.

I root for the Big Ten in bowl season. That, however, isnt synonymous with actually caring much whether they win or lose and has fuck all to do with attempting to ride other schools' coattails when Ohio State loses. It's more similar to my very loose rooting affiliation for Nevada-Reno. Hey, I'll check out their game if there's nothing better on, root for them to win and not really give a shit if they lose. If we meet up with them in the ncaa tournament, I'd be 100% all-in on our destroying the best season in their school's history with a proper Rogering.

I did feel there was a need for a strong conference with the BCS system though. Whole it's still an issue, it's less of one now and will be utterly meaningless if we ever get a proper playoff with all 5 champs guaranteed a spot.

Right, it clearly matters when the committee is setting the pecking order for similar looking teams. I root for all B1G teams except scum for that reason alone. The difference vs the SEC! SEC! SEC! 'ers is you won't find me celebrating a win like they do. This would be the extent of my reaction:
