Does anyone believe that the national championship game date is engraved in granite if the B1G begins play in November?

I take it for ‘granite’ that ESPN will screw tOSU if they can.Does anyone believe that the national championship game date is engraved in granite if the B1G begins play in November?
Yes. What are Alabama and Clemson supposed to do? Wait around for three months while Ohio State finishes up its season in mid-February?Does anyone believe that the national championship game date is engraved in granite if the B1G begins play in November?
I am more optimistic than most about some tOSU football being played in the next few months, but if the SEC and ACC have held their CCGs before December 20th, I don’t see any way in hell they’ll hold off the CFB ‘Playoff’ this year to accommodate the B1G.Sorry, but I don't see ESPN simply writing off the potential for Ohio State and its massive fan base to participate in its party in Miami just to satisfy a desire by Climpson and Bama to "play right away." Plus any championship game that excludes the best team in the USA will lose a lot of its luster.
If the game can be played in mid-February and accommodate the B1G schedule, I think it will be.
Glad you added the italicized. You curmudgeon!I am more optimistic than most about some tOSU football being played in the next few months
