I miss marking whole forums as being read. I don't care about baseball or NBA or the poli forum, and I don't care about the people who care about those things. So making all those posts disappear from 'new posts' would be nice. Making those people disappear would also be nice...

Still an option. Once you go into a forum, there is an option in the top toolbar to mark that forum read.
